Almost maintenance free. @250C w/ 1mm nozzle. 40kg of plastic ran through it

Not a perfect extruder, but damn near close. Seems to be much more exact than the previous generation of extruders. I've got 3 Ender 5 pro's running microswiss hot ends, and a CR10-V3. All modified machines for production printing.

This nozzle on a CR10 is quite a work horse. I run PETG at 250C, 1mm nozzle, .3mm layer height, 80c bed and 60mm/s. I feel like this is the limit for 1.75mm filament.

I have a popular 50hr 2kg print I produce on the CR10. Building two more CR10's, and just ordered two more extruders. They're shitty bed slingers, but for the price, and with a decent extruder, they're work horses. The stock nozzle is garbage compared to the microswiss. I *never* do belt maintenance. I have wiring fatiguing and belts breaking before the extruder needing service.

Could be easier to load, fan shroud isn't the best, but it does the thing.

It's definitely better than my last hotend that broke.
I'm having trouble finding settings for doing prints that work with the model.
New numbers im discovering I need to use than the last one

High quality upgrade, but..

I've bought the Microswiss CR-10 upgrade for my CR-10S. Installation was easy, beforehand I found me some nice cooling duct designs and printed those first on the old setup. The steppermotor feels a bit weak at times. The "high speed" i'm not so sure of it, it struggles to go beyond 40-50 mm/s. One of the worst downsides is the retraction, the 1-1.5mm retraction at a very low speed (35mm/s) is not great. This makes the setup a very "oozy" setup, even with simple PETG filaments. The temperature sensor seems to be fairly inaccurate (maybe the reason for oozing).
Although it all feels very high quality, it's not the best setup i've seen. Can't really recommend this, as there are better options at this pricepoint.
