Great nozzle for everything I've tested.

The coating on these nozzles seem to do a good job with letting you wipe away any globs of filament (even PETG), which is nice.

The only draw back to these tool steel nozzles is the necessity to increase your hotend temperature; this isn't really a problem, unless you're not away that it needs to be done.

From the few prints that I have done, a 10-15 degree increase in temp seems to do the trick and allows for great prints.

I expect that these tool steel nozzles should last a fair bit longer than the brass equivalents; time will tell whether that is the case.

I've been using Microswiss products for about 2 years now. I have three hotends and several nozzles, and each part I've purchased has been unbelievably well made, especially in comparison to the dime-a-dozen parts you'll see on AliExpress and Amazon. It's worth the extra couple dollars to know the part I'm buying will work, every time I buy it, period.

Well made printer parts

I have several nozzles made by Micro-Swiss and don't have any complaints. I was fascinated by the idea of a 0.2mm nozzle for finer details, but found that the sweet spot for finer details was the 0.3mm nozzle. I love how fast the 0.8mm nozzle is able to spit plastic - it's great for proofing larger models quickly, and also when small details or thin walls are not necessary. I've noticed that the market has been flooded with "bowden" style extruder machines. This style of extruder has not worked nearly as well for me as direct extruder machines, such as the Wanhao i3. I hope Micro-Swiss continues to stock Wanhao i3 parts as the i3 fades into market obscurity! It's by far my favorite machine, and I currently own a Taz5, Zonestar P802QR2, Creality CR-10 S4, PrintrBot Metal Plus, and four Wanhao i3 machines - all of these machines are heavily modded.
