Description

A2 Hardened Tool Steel version of this nozzles

This is RepRap style nozzle, it is made from a 360 brass base material and plated with TwinClad XT coating. TwinClad XT is a nickel composite coating designed for very low friction. It offers one of the lowest coefficient of friction, better than nickel with PTFE co-deposit. This coating is also very hard and abrasion resistant. If you are working with abrasive Carbon Fiber, Stainless Steel, wood filled or any other metal filled filaments, this will greatly improve the life of your nozzle.

Great product!

Great product at an affordable price! The plating helps with wear resistance while the brass construction still allows for good thermal conductivity!

Perfect LulzBot upgrade!

I've tested a number of nozzles on my LulzBot Taz 6, and this is definitely the best among them. It's easier to mount than the hexagon-style nozzle, and easier to clean than the E3D nozzle. There's no other printer upgrade that gives you so much bang for the buck--the micro nozzles (0.25, 0.3) increase your resolution dramatically at the cost of print speed, and the large nozzles (0.6, 0.8) make for very fast printing at the cost of resolution. I wish I had bought these sooner!
