The FlowTech™ Hotend is a new generation hotend line from Micro Swiss. Its unique design eliminates common hotend issues such as leaking nozzle seal and complex nozzle swaps.

Keeping with our philosophy, the FlowTech hotend is designed to be an easy drop-in upgrade for each 3D printer model. This edition is designed for Ender 3 V3 KE. Stock z-height, build volume and firmware remains unchanged.

The entire hotend is machined and assembled in-house, with quality control performed at multiple stages during the manufacturing process. At the end, each hotend undergoes a full thermal cycling test before it is packaged.

  • 300°C Max Temperature:
    This hotend is rated at 300°C temperature with a properly tuned NTC thermistor for each specific printer. This particular edition is perfectly tuned for Ender 3 V3 KE so no firmware changes are needed.

A great upgrade

With my Creality Ender 3 v3 KE with the stock hotend, I had somewhat constant clogging issues, of which the last one was so severe that it was not worth the time and effort trying to fix it and save the hotend. I had read a lot of positive things about the Microswiss Flowtech upgrade and instead of just ordering a new stock one, decided to go with this upgrade. The installation was a breeze, excellent instructions were provided with the product, took about 5mins. Though, it was stated that it would be a drop in upgrade and all the existing settings would work as they were, it was not the case for me, but that wasn't a big issue. After the upgrade, all of the first test prints failed, bed adhesion issues mainly, some stringing and such, but these are kind of expected with a printer like the Ender 3 v3 KE., which needs fiddling. After redoing all of the calibration, adjusting the Z-offset manually, adjusting the nozzle and bed heat settings, it has worked like a charm. If you have the time and experitse to tweak some of the forementioned aspects after installing thin upgrade, it's well worth it. After I got all of those dialed in, no problems and the quality is way more constant than with the stock one. Will recommend.

A Great Upgrade

The Ender 3 V3 KE is a great printer and it suits my 3D printing needs. The stock hotend I found was troubnlesome at times with frequent clogs and failures. Once I upgraded to the Microswiss Flowtech hotend thos problems have evaporated and I have been able to print flawlessly without hotend strip downs and nozzle clearing. I highly recommend this upgrade which is easy to install (the instructions are amazingly straightforward and easy to follow). Truly stress free printing.
