This is an All Metal Hotend Kit for CR-6 SE Printers.

This is a drop-in All Metal Conversion kit for the CR-6 SE printers. It requires absolutely zero modification to your printer to install. Our uniquely designed cooling block eliminates the need for a thermal tube. By not having a separate thermal tube inside the cooling block, it allows for faster heat dissipation.

The thermal heat break is made from Grade 5 Titanium Alloy to provide excellent thermal isolation between the heater and the cooling block. Titanium is an extremely strong material and offers almost 3x lower thermal conductivity than stainless steel, creating a more defined melt zone.

Retracting my positive review! Worked great on the 1st print, but kept clogging on the next!

I followed the instructions and reduced my retraction speed to 35mm/s per the PDF instructions. I don't know what the problem is, but it clogged really bad. Spent time taking it all apart to clean it, only to have it clog again as soon as I reloaded filament! The machining is excellent so it's too bad it has a clog issue as others have also reported online. The compression method for holding the Teflon tubing is a downside. I would rather have quick connect fittings! Not happy at all!! I put the stock hot end into my CR10 Smart after a rebuild and it's performing great

CR-10 Smart replacement hot end

This Microswift hot end drops right into a CR-10 Smart after following simple YouTube instructional video. All I had to do was print the fan adapter and used my own self tapping metric screws to attach fan to the printed PETG adapter (instead of tapping holes and using M3 screws. Hot end works great right off the bat!

Upgrade

Better than stock CR 6 SE hotend, but at $60+ it should be. Bowden connectors are poor design and difficult to know how hard to tighten. Brass compression rings cannot be reused….MS should send many spares, not just one or two!
