Sealed Heater Core:

Sealed Heater Core:

Unlike the original heater core, the FlowTech features a sealed heater core, providing the following benefits:

  • Enhanced Heat Retention: The sealed design efficiently traps heat within the core, ensuring stable and consistent printing temperatures.
  • Increased Durability: By protecting the heating element and thermistor, the sealed heater core reduces the risk of damage, extending the lifespan of the hotend.
CHT High Flow Performance:

CHT High Flow Performance:

An official collaboration between Microswiss and Bondtech brings the CHT High Flow nozzle to the FlowTech ecosystem. This nozzle incorporates proprietary CHT technology, specifically engineered to boost the flow rate and improve layer adhesion.

  • High Flow CHT
The FlowTech nozzle, equipped with Bondtech CHT technology, can achieve a maximum volumetric flow rate of up to 50 mm³/sec
  • Better layer adhesion
More uniform layer deposition is achieved by splitting the filament flow into multiple chambers as it passes through the melt zone. This reduces gaps and weak points between layers

*If the CHT Nozzle option is selected

Leak-Proof Nozzle:

Leak-Proof Nozzle:

The FlowTech Hotend integrates the nozzle and titanium thermal break into a single, permanently sealed assembly, ensuring a leak-proof design.

Cold Nozzle Change:

Cold Nozzle Change:

Changing the nozzle on a Bambu Lab printer usually requires removing the entire hotend. However, with the FlowTech hotend upgrade, the process becomes remarkably quick and easy.

The FlowTech nozzle, integrated with a heat break, allows you to change the nozzle without preheating the hotend. With a FlowTech Hotend, nozzle changes are effortless, requiring no hot tightening and can be done with just two fingers and 3D printed nozzle changing knob.

I operated my P1S for 4 months without any problem. After 11 spools of filament I switched to the Micro Swiss Flow Tech. What a nightmare. I was constantly under the hood as the hot end was constantly clogging. After two weeks of nightmares, disassembly, loss of prints I gave up and went back to the Bambu nozzle and have been printing fine for a week. I was impressed with the concept and the construction looks excellent but in operation it was a nightmare. I have purchased different size Bambu nozzles as changing them will be less than constantly pulling the Micro Swiss. I am extremely disappointed.

The best nozzle out there

I have had this nozzle for 2 weeks and put about 200 hours on my machine using .2,.4,.6 and the .8 sizes and have not had any probems, it is so easy to change nozzles. I highly recommend Microswiss Flowtech

Not as drop in as I was hoping for

I want to be able to swap nozzles with less hassle. The demo at 3dPrintopia booth was very compelling and the discount code from the convention was enough to convince me to buy..

Installation was a breeze.
The instructions are detailed and complete.
It works without changing anything in the software (there are some recommended changes related to long-retraction).

It just doesn’t print as well as the Bambu nozzles with PETG. Same filaments and prints I had already printed before swapping the nozzles just aren’t as good. I’m going through the calibrations now to try and clean it up but it’s not great. In the world of 3d printing these aren’t difficult problems, but we bought Bambu printers to not have to deal with them. Attached a photo of a calibration cube you can see the bottom corner of the calibration cube more clearly how it's just not flowing as well as I was expecting. You can also see in the top view of the cube that its otherwise acceptable but not perfect.

So if you’re not worried about having to re-do some of your your flow dynamics (at least with PETG in my experience so far) it otherwise works as advertised. If you expect it to be as set it and forget it as the original nozzles, I cannot say that with confidence right now.

Still - 4 stars - it is a good upgrade that lets me swap out nozzles without unscrewing any screws or removing the fan shroud.

Superb fit and finish

I've been buying Microswiss hotends for about 7 or 8 years, since my first FDM printer, a Monoprice rebranded Wanhao D6. Then a couple of Enders (5 Pro and a 2 Pro) and now my Bambu Lab X1-c. Always great fit and finish and super compatibility. Never had any buyers' remorse. Highly recommended, though in the past the benefits were far more noticeable, as those older printers weren't as good out-of-the-box as the X1-c.But still worth the investment.
