Sealed Heater Core:

Sealed Heater Core:

Unlike the original heater core, the FlowTech features a sealed heater core, providing the following benefits:

  • Enhanced Heat Retention: The sealed design efficiently traps heat within the core, ensuring stable and consistent printing temperatures.
  • Increased Durability: By protecting the heating element and thermistor, the sealed heater core reduces the risk of damage, extending the lifespan of the hotend.
CHT High Flow Performance:

CHT High Flow Performance:

An official collaboration between Microswiss and Bondtech brings the CHT High Flow nozzle to the FlowTech ecosystem. This nozzle incorporates proprietary CHT technology, specifically engineered to boost the flow rate and improve layer adhesion.

  • High Flow CHT
The FlowTech nozzle, equipped with Bondtech CHT technology, can achieve a maximum volumetric flow rate of up to 50 mm³/sec
  • Better layer adhesion
More uniform layer deposition is achieved by splitting the filament flow into multiple chambers as it passes through the melt zone. This reduces gaps and weak points between layers

*If the CHT Nozzle option is selected

Leak-Proof Nozzle:

Leak-Proof Nozzle:

The FlowTech Hotend integrates the nozzle and titanium thermal break into a single, permanently sealed assembly, ensuring a leak-proof design.

Cold Nozzle Change:

Cold Nozzle Change:

Changing the nozzle on a Bambu Lab printer usually requires removing the entire hotend. However, with the FlowTech hotend upgrade, the process becomes remarkably quick and easy.

The FlowTech nozzle, integrated with a heat break, allows you to change the nozzle without preheating the hotend. With a FlowTech Hotend, nozzle changes are effortless, requiring no hot tightening and can be done with just two fingers and 3D printed nozzle changing knob.

Honestly not impressed

For the cost not super impressed first one I installed it clogged and yes I followed the instructions to the T as far as making sure retraction was as it should be.

Then when trying to declog I damaged one of the nozzles I got with my second unit. So there’s 30 bucks wasted.

need to adjust flow ratio and temperatures

I was struggling with getting good "seems" but it seems that this issue was related to the default flow ratios and higher temps than defaults. Another reviewer mentioned lowering the temps 5-10 degrees and that has helped dramatically with also increasing the flow ratio to 1.0,

in orcaslicer, the default 0.95 ratio was not adequate for proper seem transitions. I was going insane with trying to figure out the issue because the calibration tests weren't revealing this problem. The only hallmark tell was when running pressure advance calibrations and the beginning and end seems for each line would look underextruded

Good results so far.

Swapped one of my Bambu X1C hardened steel nozzles for the X1/X1C / FlowTech CM2™ CHT - Hardened Tip - High Flow and it's worked flawlessly. I/v only printed about 50 hours on it so far with PLA and PETG HF.

Great if you don't mind clogs.

This works great when it actually works, and switching the nozzle size out is so much easier, but I would not recommend this at all. Every single time a job ended early it clogged (with the door open and the lid off as recommended), either high up in the hotend or even the extruder, necessitating disassembling everything and getting the clog out. Never had this happen in over 1000 hours of printing on the stock hotend, but 5 times with this one in less than 50. I've added 1 extra star for the excellent customer service experience when one piece was missing from my order.

I tried the Slice Mako before this, and returned the Mako within 24 hours of TRYING to use it.

This is better than the Mako in every way. I can acutally print with the .2 nozzle while the printer is fully enclosed!
