Great little extruder setup.

This thing prints soft tpu like nothing I have used before, definitely impressed. Only complaint is I will need to come up with a custom solution to get on linear rail until microswiss releases the rail adapter plate.

Drop in replacement.

Install was smooth as silk on ender 3v2.
Absolutely flawless. Very happy. I highly recommend this hot end.

NG Direct drive mounted on new build Voron Trident

Absolutely awesome, great hot end/extruder: I build a Voron Trident (300x300) for a Duet 3d 6HC with Raspberry PI I got last year.
I didn't like the Afterburner extruder/hot end by Voron, to many parts. Along came the NG Direct Drive which isn't setup or sold for a Core XY so I purchased it anyway and made an adapter to mount it.
Printing great, no issues on the new printer. The NG Direct Drive works flawlessly and looks great. It is wider then the original setup and I lost about 2 inches travel on the X Axis, I ordered 350 extrusions to widen the printer and increase available X Axis travel so the Voron will be a 350x300. Also using a Duet IR Height Sensor which I simply attached to the adapter with double sided tape. The 3 axis self leveling feature on the Voron Trident works great.
I will try to get the adapter posted on thingiverse if there is any interest.

Micro Swiss NG Direct Drive

I have both the old one and the new NG. It was really easy to install. Print quality is nice. I'm running 2 prints right now. 2hrs and one 9hrs. There running smoothly. I can see why there sold out. I'm thinking of selling the old one and update it

Surprising

Everything is surprising!
The quality of manufacture, simplicity, lightness,high cooling efficiency ....as usual..
I installed it on a CR10S pro, with some quick and easy changes:
-New fan shroud to use a 4020 blower
-Adaptation for linear rail
-Modification to use a brass heater block with 2 screws to avoid problems when changing the nozzle
After 2 hours of work, the first print ended successfully.
I'm super happy, I didn't need it, just a little whim while waiting for the next DD
