      Necessary

Went 3 months an the original flowtech nozzle on the hotend i upgraded to in March. Its July now. Running mostly glow filaments, and i just changed the nozzle This was about 270 runtime hours, but i also ran abpit 2 kg of glow filaments. Changing the nozzle takes 37 seconds and you do it cold. I replaced the nozzle with the cm2, so far so good.

      It’s ok

Since up grading to the micros Swiss hotend and nozzle for my K1 max for CFS I have had a lot of heat creep issues and clogs in my nozzle and the extruder because filament seems to get soft and jam everything up. Looking as I type this review or alternate options to both for better result and performance

      Much Higher Flow

Much higher flow than the one it replaced. I love the fact I can change a cold tip.

      Good All-Rounder

I used the other Microswiss brass plated nozzles with a lot of different filaments and PETG just loved to stick to it and clog it beyond use.

I got two of these (.4 and .6 sizes) for doing wood fill filaments and tried it with other filaments just to see how it worked out.

PETG sticks to this nozzle a lot less than the others so I’ve just kept the .4mm as my main nozzle. Printed an entire hoard of dragons and some functional parts in PLA, wood PLA, silk PLA, matte PLA, and PETG and have yet to have a clog and only a couple failed prints that were user error related. The accuracy makes beautiful prints and nothing seems to stick to it.

I found I didn’t have to change my existing profile temperatures for most of my filaments.

K1 max and Neptune 4 max with flowtech hot ends

2 of 3 of my printers run the flowtech hotends with cm2 nozzles. I ordered all size options but have only used the 1 @ .4mm nozzle since May '24 on the k1 with absolutely no problems. Just swapped the neptune and already having better luck with prints. I've printed abs, petg, abrasive glow, and asa with it just as well as it runs pla. Huge improvement for both printers in my case.
